HM Deluxe Pop-Up Productions are a small but sensational arts and festival management team who specialise in conceptualising and developing niche arts based events. This dynamic two woman team has a wealth of learning and experience under their very stylish belts and they manage and market all of the events, as well as Harry's own regular performing presence both in Perth and Interstate. HM Deluxe Pop-Up productions was born out of a desire to offer musicians and artists from around Australia opportunities to network and build supportive connections, to enable strong interstate ties and foster collaboration. It was also designed to ensure that artists can participate in socially and environmentally sustainable events, which build their profiles and expand their audiences, while committing to social responsibility. The dynamic duo, with a range of supportive partners and preferred suppliers, create niche music events, theatre and festivals with a retro flavor and support artists working in jazz, swing, blues, rockabilly and rock and roll musical genres, as well as artists in general.Although the team currently prefers to focus on developing their own creative events, they do also offer services supporting other artists with developing / marketing events or businesses, local governments and other small clients wishing to create terrific niche musical events, festivals or productions of their own. Summer Swing Smackdown
The inaugural Summer Swing Smackdown will be the swing music and dancing event of the season. Three of the best and most popular Perth Swing bands will face off against each other in this showcase event The Harry Deluxe Swing Band, Libby Hammer Quintet and The Darling Buds of May. Adelaide's premier swing band, The Lucky Seven, are also coming to Perth for HM Deluxe Pop-Up Productions to headline the event. Tickets available from BOCS - www.bocsticketing.com.au.

Miss Harry Deluxe will launch her second album, The Wages of Sin, with the help of a host of incredible musicians from Perth and beyond! The long awaited album is a retro fusion, inspired by sounds from incredible eras and artists. It growls with sultry blues, swings up a storm and mixes in a little dirty rockabilly. This album will charm listeners of all musical persuasions and make you dust off your dancing shoes. A Saucy Little Secret follows the lives of five strong gay blues women whose music and attitudes have influenced the development of modern music, queer lifestyle and racial tolerance. They tell the often bleak and pitiful tales of their all too brief childhoods and their struggles to pursue the dream of better lives for themselves and their families. The careers of these artists spanned the early twenties and thirties, with some reaching into decades beyond. The five incredible characters will be performed by five of Perth's most brilliant and influential jazz and blues singers from July 30th to August 3rd 2012, at The Ellington Jazz Club. When Harry met Johnny is a comic musical performance from two of Perths rockabilly legends. The show pits the country-inspired rockabilly stylings of Johnny Law against the saucy but sophisticated sounds of Harry Deluxe. The two challenge each other in a hoedown showdown of witticisms and cutting criticisms. Interspersed with original music from both artists, and with the support of a terrific band and back-up performers, this is a show not to be missed, and will be toured across the East Coast in late 2012 / early 2013. The Laneway Rumble is a one day laneway festival and retro bicycle show bringing together the best of Perth and Australia's rockin' retro musicians, with some of the best rockabilly, blues and jump blues musicians Australia has to offer. A stunning line-up of performers, together with dancers, pin-up artists and cabaret / burlesque artists, as well as retro stall holders and vintage marketeers will make this the not-to-be-missed retro event for the year in Perth.
